Unfortunately, I do believe the OFM tests no longer exist with the switch to NFPA across the board... You should be able to write the 472 Hazmat Ops test and get your PROBOARD cert.


I would suggest contacting the OFM.

The only two certs that count as "NFPA" are from IFSAC or PROBARD... Anything else is just a course certificate.

The terms are almost interchangeable, but a basic "Pin In" or "Pin Job" essentially boils down to popping a door with the tools to gain access and remove the patient.

In this context an "entrapment" would require a more complex extrication to remove the vehicle from around the patient.
