Saw your message but I am unable to reply for some reason. I did my panel interview in early January and was told I passed a few days later, I will be going for a polygraph soon and was told to expect CPAT in February. It looks like they are rushing through applicants who have all of the pre-hire quals. As far as I know, if you haven't been told that you're unsuccessful you're still in the process but it might take a while depending on if you have an EMR, class 3 license, etc.

to give you guys a sense, if you haven't been told you're out, you are still in the process. CFD usually gets nearly 2000 applications when they have an intake and from that likely finds about 40-50 people for the pool. And this process can take nearly a year to complete.

recruitment only builds up a pool of candidates, so when the city lets the department officially hire, then a class is announced and they take from the top of the pool. keep you qual's up to date and stick with it. It's a great career and department.

This question may appear redundant.
However ... any reason CFD are putting on another info session in March?

Does anyone here know if CFD checks if you have updated your info (EMR, Class 3, etc.)? If information has been updated during the current process, am I better off applying for the May 31st deadline with these in hand? Any info is appreciated!
