I didn't count them, but it sure seemed as though I was far under the 500-word total. And there was not a large dialogue box to write in and see everything written, just a one-line type box that kept advancing so I was unable to see what I had written unless I scrolled all the way back. I'm just a little worried that my application will be scrapped, hoping maybe I'm not the only person that experienced this.
Yeah that happened to me as well.
Just write it out in note pad, take the contents from that, and paste in that little text box.

I believe it was a 500 character count, not word. Which would explain the short text box.titan500 wrote:sfd18 wrote:When it came time to write a little more about yourself, did anyone else have an issue with the total words? I don't have any official sources, but based on what the Deputy Chief said at last years test it would be 8.Alberta58Fire wrote:Anyone have any information in regards to how many they are looking at for hire with this recruitment?

Yes, the written test was last Thursday. Nothing yet for the practical test if that's what you were referring too.zjsummers wrote:Have invites gone out yet for the test?

Wow. The deadline was Monday and test on Thursday. That went fast. Good luck once again to everyone who wrote.

Quick deadline then test date, I was assuming/hoping the next stage would be the same. Has anyone received any word?
