Toronto 2021

No new update other than soon.sparky2018 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 6:38 pmHas there been any word on when the new recruitment might be opening up again? I imagine COVID has thrown a wrench into things, was just curious if anyone had heard anything.
With reference checks still being completed and final medical checks, the very few people assigned to TFS HR is minimal sometimes one person with assistance from other HR divisions.
And yes COVID will also be throwing a short snag as HR is involved in a lot of the fallout from that.
Advice: Make sure your certifications especially OFAI are up to date. Many may lose their CJO to not keeping them up to date, These individuals knew they had applied. Regardless of what others have said, it's common sense to expect you will be required to provide valid updated certificates.
Also, be prompt and on time. nuff said

Would those that have recieved a firm offer also do well to keep their OFAI certifications up to date?
Re: Toronto 2021
I saw Ottawa only required the written test from OFAI. Might Toronto do this?

If you were requested by TFS to provide up-to-date certificates as part of your CJO, which some have been, then you must provide valid certificates.
If you have a vaild offer and have not been directed to provide up to date valid certificates that means you are scheduled to start in a few weeks unless something major happens
