Thunder Bay crews respond to multiple downed power wires

July 17, 2020, Thunder Bay, Ont. – High winds kept Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews busy dealing with downed power wires across the city Wednesday night. In a release issued on Thursday morning, the fire departments said just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, high winds arrived during a thunderstorm and took down many trees, impacting hydro infrastructure in the Westfort ward in particular.
