Does anyone know if Out of Province applicants can do some of these pre-requisite tests in their own province? I know the CPAT can be taken at many places. But what about this Skills Assessment

Negative. Must be done through OFAI.

Thats unfortunate. Have to see if its worth it to head there just for the testing, before even applying.
Thanks for the response.

Worth a couple trips out for testing. They don't like to pass you until you've been through the testing a handful of times. ;-)

Anyone have the scoop on how many classes will be hired this year? I'm hoping 2 or 3.

It will have everything to do with two influences.
1) number of retirements which currently is not too many. January is biggest month so that is why this recruitment

2) City of Toronto Budget. I personally believe the chance of cutting more trucks is low but many underestimated the chance of it happening previously too.

That is perhaps the details we need to know.

I had a debate with some friends regarding the most recent Toronto application

most people should remember

10. "Questions 11-20 are optional"

11. Gender?
12. non white non caucasian?
13. aboriginal?
14. disability?

I am curious what people did in this section. I imagine lots of people chose to answer the questions. but I would imagine there was others, who, like me, thought twice about answering the questions.

Anyone know what the stage 3 will consist of? What tests exercises or presentations will there be?
